Developmental screenings aligned with AAP guidelines.
Preventive CareRegular well-child visits are the foundation of preventive pediatric care. These visits allow your pediatrician to track growth, identify potential concerns early, administer age-appropriate vaccinations, and provide guidance tailored to your child's developmental stage.
The AAP recommends well-child visits at: 3–5 days (newborn), 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, and annually from ages 3–18. Each visit includes age-specific screenings and anticipatory guidance.
Growth measurements (height, weight, head circumference), developmental milestone screening, vision and hearing checks (at appropriate ages), blood pressure monitoring, behavioral and mental health assessment, vaccination updates, nutritional counseling, and open discussion about any parental concerns.
We complete all required school health forms, sports physicals, and camp documentation during annual well-child visits. Schedule 4–8 weeks before the deadline to allow time for any follow-up needs.
Same-day and same-week appointments available at all 9 locations.
