Acute & Sick CareWhen your child wakes up sick, call your nearest American Pediatrics office. Our triage nurse will assess symptoms over the phone, determine the urgency, and schedule an immediate appointment — often the same morning.
Fever, cough, sore throat, ear pain, vomiting or diarrhea, rashes, eye infections, urinary symptoms, allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, and injuries or falls. If symptoms suggest a medical emergency, our team will direct you to the nearest ER.
We accept walk-in patients on a limited basis at all 9 locations during regular office hours. While we can't guarantee wait times for walk-ins, we make every effort to accommodate urgent concerns as quickly as possible.
Your child's insurance card, a list of current medications, temperature readings if taken at home, and any relevant details about symptom onset and duration. If your child has been seen elsewhere recently, bring those records too.
