Early-life checkups, feeding guidance, and milestone tracking.
Preventive CareWe recommend your newborn's first office visit within 3–5 days of coming home from the hospital. During this crucial visit, we assess weight gain, feeding patterns, jaundice levels, umbilical cord healing, and overall well-being.
Weight and growth trajectory, head circumference, feeding adequacy (breast or formula), jaundice screening, heart and lung function, hip stability, and newborn reflexes. We also screen for common newborn conditions and ensure all hospital screenings have been reviewed.
First-time parents receive extended support and guidance on breastfeeding techniques, formula preparation, safe sleep positioning (always on the back), bathing, diapering, recognizing signs of illness, and managing normal newborn behaviors like cluster feeding and fussiness.
Your newborn will receive the Hepatitis B vaccine shortly after birth (usually at the hospital). Subsequent vaccinations begin at the 2-month visit following the AAP-recommended schedule.
Same-day and same-week appointments available at all 9 locations.
